Le Dix de Los Vascos 2018, Colchagua Valley 750ml

Chateau Lafite and Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), which owns many wineries, bought the Chilean Los Vascos winery and heavily investment in modernizing the winery in 1988. Le Dix de Los Vascos is named to commemorate the first 10 years of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) in Chile and created the first "Blackjack-LE DIX”. Le Dix de Los Vascos is processed in the same way as top wines. The grapes come from vines that are more than 50 years old. The pruning controls low yields and no fertilizer is used. The best areas in the vineyard are strictly selected, 100% French oak barrels, and bottled. After being stored for more than 15 months, the output is only 5,000 boxes.

Le Dix de Los Vascos 2018 has a deep garnet color that is almost black. The rich aroma exudes aromas of very ripe black berries and wild cherries, with aromas of cedar, bay and licorice. Oak and fruit flavors are harmoniously compatible. Elegant, flat and full of tannins, the finish has a strong cherry flavor and a slight bitterness typical of high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon walnut peel, a balanced and round flavor, and a long finish. Although this excellent wine is young but rich in flavor, it will become more diversified and softer after a period of time. It is a rare wine worthy of collection.
