Ferro13 is an atypical winery, made by people linked by a strong passion for wine and creativity. Every Ferro13 wine has a story and represents us and the excellence of Italian wine from Northern to Southern Italy.

Ultra modern Ferro 13 present their Gentleman Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir). Grapes are sourced from the hills of Pavia 130m above sea level in Oltrepo Pavese DOC. Burgundy-style vinification follows in cone-shaped wooden 30-quintal vats at an uncontrolled temperature. The slow and precise vinification and techniques of delestage and batonage allow simultaneous malolactic fermentation. After racking, the wine spends a further 9 months on lees.

Gentleman is classic and elegant, revealing itself further with each sip. Classic red berry aromas are complemented by a touch of tobacco. Red fruit and berries dominate the complex palate, with smoke and vanilla adding on the finish. Try with truffle or light tomato pastas and risottos, or soft cheese such as brie and camembert.
