Fujimi The 7 Virtues Blended Japanese Whisky 700ml The Fujimi Blended Japanese Whisky is a non age statement whisky, but I have it on good authority that it is actually a mere 3 years old. It has been matured in American white oak casksNose: Mildly fruity, banana sticking out. It does remind me quite a lot of an average Scotch blend. Fair enough quality, but a bit bland. With time it turns a bit more spicy. Taste: Medium body and sweetness. Apples, bananas - actually, make that baked bananas. Fairly spicy - white pepper, ginger and cinnamon. Finish: Medium long. More creamy in character now; banana cake with cream. The spices do subside and leave us with a straight fruity sweetness in the end.
