Yoichi single malt whisky is made from different years of whiskys, with fruity style that is directly heated by peat, unique to Nikka Distillery. Inspired by the Scottish Island of Islay, Yoichi Single Malt Whiskey is an acidified malted barley aged in American oak and sherry casks, then finished with some special spices to achieve a spicy, lightly smoky, easy-to-drink whiskey. Nose: Slightly peated and becoming darker, the aroma gradually develops into candied fruits, citrus fruits and spices, extending into more and more layers of floral notes.

Palate: Balanced aromas of peat, smoke, spice, fresh fruit and nuts. It has a chocolate flavor with peat aroma.

Finish: Full of ripe fruit, with herbal and malty peat character and a touch of saltiness rounding out the flavors, showing depth and coastal umami.
