The Chuan features refined craftmanship and Chinese characteristics. It’s located in Emeishan. The year-round precipitation coupled with summer heat creates the exceptional environment for whisky making that increases the intensity of flavours. The talented Chinese Master Distiller Dr. Yang Tao leads local craftsmanship with exceptional whisky making techniques to complement the multi-layered Chinese pallet.

The Chuan Pure Malt Whisky is crafted through mastery of three types of oak from three continents: rich sherry oak casks from Spain, classic bourbon oak casks from America and our proprietary (Dan Ling) Chinese Oak from the famed and protected Changbai Mountain. It features sherry-forward flavours, bringing a complexity of layers and a long finish with sophisticated Chinese spices.

Aroma : Rich notes of a floral bouquet, sweet fruit and cream act as an overture, married with notes of well-rounded and layered candier fruit and crème brulee.

Palate : Finishing with a long-lasting aroma of wood and warming sensation of aged mandarin peel.
