Louis Jadot is one of Burgundy’s most consistent and celebrated négociants, with a range that is universally adored from its classic Bourgogne to the finest Grand Cru. Established when Louis-Henri Jadot bought the Beaune Premier Cru monopole Clos des Ursules in 1826, the company passed to the Gagey family, who eventually sold it their long-term importer to the US, Kobrand. The company now boasts over 130 hectares of vineyards stretching from Chablis to Beaujolais, but it’s the quality of the wines that have made them a household name.

This wine are made from Chardonnay. The limestone subsoil of the Monts du Mâconnais are ideal for growing the Chardonnay grapes. Some small areas produce exceptional wines. The Louis Jadot Mâcon Blanc Villages is made from grapes from these different areas. Fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel tanks to preserve as much as possible the fruit and freshness. Wine serving temperature 10-12. Aging potential 5-10 years, depending on the vintage.

This wine shows floral, apple and citrus aromas with resfh, clean flavors and mineral notes. Perfect as an aperitif or with shellfish, crab cakes or goat cheese.
