Domaine de Baron'Aqrues, located in the Languedoc region of France's Limoux region, is a very old manor and one of the main manors in Limoux. Domaine de Baron'Aqrues was originally named Domaine de Lambert, and its history can be traced back to the 17th century AD. Baroness Phillippine de Rothschild and her two sons bought the winery in 1998, reorganized the vineyards and refurbished the winemaking equipment.
The grape varieties grown on the estate come from Bordeaux and the Rhone Valley. The wine has a generally rich flavor, with a deep garnet red color. The aroma is concentrated and accompanied by strong aromas and aromas of black currants, tobacco and spices. The taste is fresh and clear, combined with black fruits, round and delicate. Keeps for approximately 15 to 20 years.

Tasting notes:
The wine is an attractive, bright garnet red.
The nose opens on red fruit aromas combined with rose scents, going on to develop delicate notes of almond paste and blond tobacco.
From a supple and velvety attack, the beautifully fresh mid-palate reveals refined and elegant tannins associated with an impression of density and fullness. Notes of toast, cocoa, vanilla and cedarwood combine with wild berry fruit flavours on the long and succulent finish.
