Pinot Noir is known as the most difficult grape variety to care for. In 1985, David Hohnen founded Cloudy Bay Marlborough's most representative Sauvignon Blanc. For 30 years, Cloudy Bay has continued this pioneering spirit and developed one of the world's most challenging Central. Pinot Noir grape variety from the Otago region. The Te Wahi 2014 vintage released by Cloudy Bay Winery is Pinot Noir from Central Otago, where Pinot Noir grapes are extremely rare, accounting for less than 2% of New Zealand's total.

Made from 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, Peloru is grown in Marlborough's Wairau Valley. Blending three vintages using a partially fermented base wine and further maturing in the bottle for over two years, Pelorus is a blend of select vintages that brings out all the characteristics of a sparkling Chardonnay.

Aroma: Chardonnay is a refreshing combination of citrus and pear fruit, based on the saltiness of Pinot Noir and characteristics reminiscent of toast and brioche.

Palate: Crispy and delicious with toasty and creamy complexity with a lingering nutty flavor. The texture is rich, but dry and delicate.
