Chateau Pichon-Longueville Bar is located in Pauillac, and was rated as a second-class winery in the Medoc rating in 1855. Chateau Pichon is a famous "legendary" winery in the entire Bordeaux region.

The garden of Chateau Pichon is not yet a vineyard, it is just a forest before the 17th century. It is owned by a landlord named Brund de Boysset, and the name of the garden is not the current name. Since the only daughter of the Baron Longueville married Bernard de Pichon in 1646, the property has changed ownership as a dowry, and the property has been renamed Pichon-Longueville, which is composed of the surnames of the two families.

From the middle of the 18th century to the middle of the 19th century, the winery was managed by Baron Joseph. In order to prevent his children from affecting the management of the winery due to property competition, he divided two-fifths of the winery to his two sons before his death. The distribution was given to 3 daughters, so 2 famous estates appeared in today's Pauillac second-level estate-Chateau Pichon owned by 2 sons and Ch. Pichon Longueville-Comtesse de Lalande controlled by 3 daughters.

==============

Château Pichon Baron 2019 reveals a beautiful dark garnet colour with purple hues. The bouquet is precise and very intense, revealing a wide aromatic palette of ripe black fruits and spices. The body is fleshy, creamy, and powerful. The tannins are present and plentiful, without astringency, silky and sleek. It has a beautiful fleshy tension in the mouth, with a sunny and charming style. The finish is elegant, distinguished, with a bright fruitiness. A great wine for ageing as it develops a generous, rich, and elegant fullness.
